Touching the Presence of God

Job 21; Mark 5,6

Scripture:
Mark 5: 30At once Jesus realized that power had gone out from him. He turned around in the crowd and asked, "Who touched my clothes?" 31"You see the people crowding against you," his disciples answered, "and yet you can ask, 'Who touched me?' "

Mark 6:56And wherever he went—into villages, towns or countryside—they placed the sick in the marketplaces. They begged him to let them touch even the edge of his cloak, and all who touched him were healed.

Observation:
This passage of faith always inspires me to dream and believe big. This woman, who was seen as an outcast, or cursed stepped in faith to receive her miracle and power flowed out of Jesus. She got his attention, she touched him in a manner of faith and this impressed him, as many were touching Him, but not with faith. Her faith resulted in a miracle. In the next chapter we see others also touching the helm of Jesus garment and receiving a miracles. They practiced what she did, she was a pioneer for many.

Application:
This passage speaks to me of intimacy and faith. I have the opportunity to touch the helm of His garment each and every day. I can come to Him in faith every day and receive a miracle. God is waiting for me to come to Him daily, so that I can receive my miracle. I believe a breakthrough is coming in my life and my home. I sensed a breakthrough in the spirit this week and though I do not fully understand or know what it is, i believe something huge is about to happen. I know my role is to hold onto the helm of His garment, in other words, my role is to stay close to the Lord to follow and to seek His presence and guidance. As I sang last night, "Thank You Lord for the Holy Ghost, His my Comforter, my Helper, on Him I can depend," so I walk this day. I need the presence of the Holy Spirit. I need the wisdom, discernment and conviction of the Holy Spirit. May I be like this woman, pressing through crowds, or distractions of life to grab onto my Jesus.

Prayer:
Father thank You for this message. Thank You for the blessing of Your presence. Thank You for the Holy Spirit in my life. Guide me today Holy Spirit. Refresh me and walk with me. Reveal to me the will of the Father and the truth's of the kingdom. I pray today for Restoration, Elevation and Multiplication. I pray for Your will to be done in my life as it is in Heaven. Bless this day, go before me and I thank You for meeting my every need. I pray that I would point others to You through my lifestyle, language and attitude. I love You Lord, bless my wife today and refresh her through Your Holy Spirit.
