Stepping in the Gap

Job 19, Mark 1,2

Scripture:
Mark 2:4Since they could not get him to Jesus because of the crowd, they made an opening in the roof above Jesus and, after digging through it, lowered the mat the paralyzed man was lying on. 5When Jesus saw their faith, he said to the paralytic, "Son, your sins are forgiven."


Observation:
The paralytic could not get to Jesus, the crowd was to huge and they were blocking the way into the house. He needed his friends to make a way for him to get his miracle. He needed the faith of his friends. Their faith got them to a point of no-return. A point of no return in the sense of they could be arrested for tearing down the man's roof or for hurting someone in the house by tearing up the roof. It is amazing how Jesus responds to them, vs. 5 states that Jesus saw their faith, and then spoke to the paralytic. The faith of the friends of the paralytic produced a miracle, they stood proxy for him. Their is power is standing proxy and believing.

Application:
Who am I standing proxy for? I feel an increase in my authority and anointing. I feel I am called to stand proxy for the youth of the nation. I feel they are paralyzed, paralyzed by media, brokenness, abuse, violence and culture. I want to carry them to Jesus, for I know He loves them and He has a miracle for them, the miracle of freedom and love. It starts with me though, the compassion must grow, the sacrifice increase and the faith stretched to new levels. I know that God is stretching me to believe bigger and the anointing is rising. I am starting to see a new rise of young leaders, a new generation of breakthrough, a generation of warriors that are righteous. I pray the anointing rises and attracts them. I pray the call increases and the vision and passion in the young and wild grows. I pray for urgency that is would takes its place!

Prayer:
Father let it come. Let breakthrough come in the lives of the youth. Start in urgency and go through the valley, state, nation and world. Lord I see the vision, I see it clearly and I know the cost. I am willing. Lord open the doors as only You can. I pray for our Youth conference and I pray for breakthrough. Lord stir it up. I pray for the lost and call them in. I pray for the harvest as Jesus spoke about and I call it in. I bind the spirit of the wicked one over our city and over the youth. I bind the spirit of rejection, abuse, suicide, depression, violence, addiction, lust and perversion. I bind the principalities and power and command them to let go in the Name of Jesus. Lord I pray the will of the Father over my city and over every youth. I pray for the favor and power of Jesus to move the mountains. I pray for a revival of young people. Lord go before us and do a mighty work I pray. Thank You for calling me and I pray for an obedient heart and willing spirit to Your will and to Your ways. Forgive me for my sins and my transgressions. I crossed the line and I'm Yours! Use me according to Your will. I step in the gap for the youth of the world. May my life bring honor to You, Amen.
