Job 5; Psalm 108; Acts 10-11
Scripture:
Job 5:9 He performs wonders that cannot be fathomed,
miracles that cannot be counted.
10 He bestows rain on the earth;
he sends water upon the countryside.
Psalm 108: 4 For great is your love, higher than the heavens;
your faithfulness reaches to the skies.
Observation:
Job knew that God was his source, he knew that God would raise him up and that no man could explain the ways of God. God knows the needs of men and His love for man is indescribable. God is faithful, even when we are not, He watches over us and guards us by His strong hand.
Application:
God is my source, even when I feel like I'm in a drought or in a fruitful season it does not change the faithfulness of God. God knows what I need and as long as my faith is in Him, He will make a way for me. God will provide and open the windows of heaven for me. I must continue to guard my heart from the things of this world. The worldly things try to snatch up my focus and devotion. I must always keep an open heart with God. In this season of my life, I pray for the faithfulness and provision of God. I am learning to be a faithful steward. I want to steward more and I know that this comes with maturity and obedience. Sometimes I forget that God is ultimately in control, and like I preached this weekend, I'm simply a passenger. I declare that God is my God, no good thing will He withhold from men who walk uprightly. May I be that man!
Prayer:
Father thank You for Your goodness and faithfulness. You know all my needs and my desires. I thank You today for the blessings You bestow on me, my wife, my health, my family and friends. I pray today for an increase in anointing, wisdom, finances, influence, so that I can do more for the kingdom. I pray for wisdom to do catalytic projects with catalytic fruit. I pray today for favor and peace to guard my heart. Bless my home. Bless my wife. I thank You for grace, mercy and love today. Transform me into the man You have called me to be.
Amen.
Quote for this Season
Are you building your life around what's WRONG with you, or what's RIGHT with Him?
