No One Grows Alone

Proverbs 25; Proverbs 26; Proverbs 27; Romans 15

Scripture:
Proverbs 27:17 As iron sharpens iron,
so one man sharpens another.

Observation:
This morning I am reminded of a statement my friends Pastor Gary would tell all the time, No one grows alone." God saved me and He planted me in His family. I need others in my life to hold me accountable and to remove the 'layers of sin in my life' just like the removed the garb of Lazarus when he came out of the tomb. Iron sharpens iron, speaks to me of strong, righteous, people of integrity bringing the best out of each other for the glory of the Lord.

Application:
In my life I have a few people that are like iron. They have walked with me and bring the best out of me. They tell me the things I do not always want to hear and they are helping me to become the man God has called me to be. I can truly say that I am blessed because of these men in my life. 'No one grows alone," is true! I pray today a blessing on these special people.

Prayer:
Lord, bless these friends of mine. You know them. Bless their homes, their marriages, their families, their vocations, their finances and their visions. Bless their walk with You and draw them ever closer to Your presence. Protect them and give the wisdom they need for this season of their lives. I pray that You would guide their every step and that You would promote, elevate and multiply their territory. Give them favor and open doors that no man can. I thank You for these my brothers and I pray that our relationships would always challenge us to grow. I pray this all in Your Sons Name. Amen.
